My team of designers set out to understand what factors influence gen-z's style throughout their lives. This involved doing secondary research on fashion styles historically and currently through articles and social media. This information was used as a basis for a survey gathering specific details of college students' style and how it has changed throughout their lives. The data from this survey led us to create two co-design activities. The first activity involved how college students perceive types of style. They were asked to make a persona based on a specific style term with a small group, which they then presented and discussed with the other groups. The second activity involved individuals filling out a style experience timeline, reflecting on their own style changes throughout their lives. The second part of this activity was a "self-perception Pyramid", where participants ranked style terms that were generated in our survey based on how similar they felt the terms described their style.
